PROBLEM: Comfortable TV viewing was the primary focus for these homeowners. The current furniture arrangement was such that only one person could lay down and watch the telly. Additional challenges were the multiple focal points, decorating a corner fireplace and the appearance of ?floating? furniture.

SOLUTION: With a few simple touches we fused our client?s vision with our decorating expertise. Relocating the TV armoire next to the fireplace merged the two focal points into a single line of vision. Flanking the armoire with the largest upholstered furniture pieces created a space of each homeowner to stretch out and relax. Addressing each side of the corner fireplace individually (side two not shown) allowed for two treasure-filled mantel schemes. A brilliant-colored area rug serves double duty??anchors? the furniture around it and carries color to the floor.
